Geneva International is responsible for the information you share with our community organisers. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

What we collect and why

Our group suggestion form asks for your name, email address, group idea and any optional details. Football applications ask for your name, email address, playing position, chosen team and whether you know an existing player, with their name if you do. Please only include information relevant to your request.

We use these details to review suggestions, manage applications and reply to you. Submitting a form does not sign you up to a marketing mailing list.

Forms and email

FormSubmit processes our forms and sends submissions to our organisers’ Zoho Mail inbox. Google reCAPTCHA may check submissions to reduce spam. FormSubmit states that it keeps a submission archive for 30 days. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and relevant community administration, or to meet applicable obligations.

Website, maps and cookies

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect it. Activity maps load map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives technical information when those tiles are requested. Our maps do not request your device’s GPS location.

We do not currently add advertising trackers or analytics tools to this website. Our service providers may use cookies or similar technology for security and spam prevention, including during a CAPTCHA check. See the Cloudflare privacy policy and OpenStreetMap privacy policy.

External services

When you follow links to WhatsApp, Instagram, booking websites or Google or Apple Maps, those services handle your information under their own privacy policies. Joining our WhatsApp community is a separate choice from submitting a form.

Our service providers may process information outside Switzerland. Their policies explain their international processing and safeguards.

Your choices

You can contact us to ask about your information, request access or corrections, or ask us to delete it. We will respond in line with applicable data protection rights and any obligations to retain information. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
